Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000

As Internet connections have matured to faster and faster broadband pipelines, webcam manufacturers have been keeping pace with higher resolutions and improved optics to take advantage of the larger bandwidth. It's more than just communicating over chat and VoIP, webcams are increasingly used to broadcast Truman Show-esque live video feeds of one's every move (such as at Justin.tv) as well as high-quality mini-movies uploaded to sharing sites. That's where the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 really shines, with its 2-megapixel image sensor, smooth-tracking autofocus, high-end Carl Zeiss optics, and HD video capabilities (with the capability of recording video at 960 by 720 pixels).

Logitech ships 1 billionth mouse

Earlier this month Logitech announced that it shipped their 1 billionth mouse. It took them 28 years to reach that milestone. The mouse has since evolved from the early days to now include wireless laser and bluetooth technologies.
I'm currently a big fan of the Nano series that is currently in production for use with laptops. The mouse is very precise and comfortable to use and it has a slightly smaller form factor that makes it easy to store and carry with your notebook.
Gone are the days of fumbling with USB cables, bulky wireless mouse receivers, and oddly shaped USB stick receivers. The Nano series has a tiny USB 2.0 receiver which basically is meant to be plugged into an available USB slot and forgotten about.
If you're interested in finding out more about these great devices, check out the Logitech V450 Nano Cordless Mouse

Logitech Wave Keyboard

Logitech Wave Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard
Logitech have announced a new ergonomic keyboard in the form of the "Wave" the curvilinear keyboard comes in a cool black and looks like it would indeed be very comfortable to use ... though I'll save my final thoughts on this unit until I've had a chance to try one. The Wave is available in both wired and wireless editions and is set to be priced around the $90 mark for the wireless with mouse combo. It should hit stores sometime in August.
