Samsung Show OLED Laptop Concept

Samsung SDI - Sammy's display division - have shown a cool looking ultra-thin, AMOLED laptop concept. The display measures 12.1-inches and features a 1,280 x 768 resolution with infinite contrast. When combined with the apparently touch-sensitive keyboard it's definitely aimed at the more style conscious user.

MacBook Air Start Shipping

Many early purchasers of the MacBook Air are reporting that Apple have informed them that their units are on their way to them. By the time you read this several of these unit will no doubt have been configured and put through their paces. It'll be interesting to hear about the first impressions of these early adopters. Does the wireless RemoteDisk facility work? It remains to be seen.

They're fast, they're equipped with highly quality screens and there's more than ever before available for Mac OS X. You could do worse than considering a MacBook Pro 2007 Edition if you need a mobile DTP, graphics, video or general multimedia workstation. Nice machines. Check them out at the Apple Store. We did and we liked what we saw, especially the 2.4GHz 17" model. The NVIDIA 8600M GT graphics are lovely (and fast).
